James A. Mahar is a senior associate in the firm's litigation department primarily defending civil lawsuits in the areas of personal injury, products liability, construction, motor vehicle and premises liability. Attorney Mahar is experienced in handling municipal and governmental liability matters as well.
He started his legal career as an Assistant Clerk with the Stamford Superior Court from the fall of 1995 to the spring of 1997. Since entering private practice, he has worked primarily on defense related matters. He also is experienced in real estate transactions and family relation matters.
He is admitted to practice law in states of Connecticut and New York as well as the Federal District Court of Connecticut. He is an active trial lawyer, having successfully completed numerous jury trials and arbitrations throughout the state.
Jamie currently resides in Stratford with his wife and three children.
