Beverly J. Hunt focuses her practice in the area of medical malpractice, utilizing her prior extensive nursing experience and knowledge in the preparation of cases for trial. She has been instrumental in the development of medical malpractice cases resulting in successful conclusions, these cases including intrauterine and birth-related injuries and death, neurologic injury following surgery and death as a result of cardiac events.

Beverly was featured in the non-fiction book Damages, describing the evolution of a medical malpractice case, authored by Barry Werth.

Beverly has been active in the American Diabetes Association, Connecticut Affiliate for several years, serving as its president during 1982 to 1984.

She has been active, as well, with the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care of Southwestern, CT, Inc. Board of Directors for several years and is currently Chairman of the Board. She had been actively engaged in re-establishing Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care as an independent agency, servicing patients in the greater Stamford area, and insuring the on-going existence of the well-regarded Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice Residence in Stamford.
